چکیده

In this paper, we seek to establish ‘sequencing economics’ in an architectural theory on agglomerations that are comprised of various segments, such as infrastructure, institutions and human resources. The sequencing segments is based a causal chain, with the notion ‘economies sequence’ regarded tool which efficiently sequence segment construction, defined by Granger causality relationships. use ‘new economic geography’ for cases economies were applied information communication technology (ICT) industry, paper concludes starting conditions agglomeration, value share skilled workers exceeds threshold at symmetric equilibrium shifts agglomeration equilibrium. results testing identified increase research expenses Granger-causes number patents, patents added. Based our results, conclude when ICT development invitation researchers precondition, procurement funds patent precedes any patents. Subsequently, necessary products

The Spread of Industry: spatial agglomeration in economic development

This paper describes the spread of industry from country to country as a region grows. All industrial sectors are initially agglomerated in one country, tied together by inputoutput links between firms. Growth expands industry more than other sectors, bidding up wages in the country in which industry is clustered. At some point firms start to move away, and when a critical mass is reached indus...

2133 What Causes Industry Agglomeration ?

Many industries are geographically concentrated. Many mechanisms that could account for such agglomeration have been proposed. We note that these theories make different predictions about which pairs of industries should be coagglomerated. We discuss the measurement of coagglomeration and use data from the Census Bureau’s Longitudinal Research Database from 1972 to 1997 to compute pairwise coag...
